SCENE III: A Work in Progress

pp. 35-52

DESCRIPTION/SET UP

"A becoming in which one never becomes…" (Nelson,53).

Transitioning, transformative, perpetual metamorphosis

The act or progress to achieve the ideal I with the acceptance that it will never be achieved, and that the progress requires (in the case of transness - often painful) maintenance, self-love, and dedicated commitment.

THE EOE-FBS

Harry enters the stage pausing center stage looking up over the audience. Harry struggles with the bindings of his corset to flatten his breasts. Maggie enters. They look at one another. In chorus the line is spoken. They continue to walk, dance and interact with each other.
