RE-FRAMING DIMENSIONALITY
Stemming from Alexander McQueen’s ideals of life and
death exhibited in his show Dante, this project speaks about the idea of the
frame, as it exists, as it is destroyed, and as it is changed. Everything has a
frame of some sort, whether it is life, with its lifespan, the body, in its
limited reach, or a camera, in its focal length. The project also highlights
the connection between different types of frames, reaching somewhere beyond the
limits of the frame and returning with an altered perception of both the frame
as well as its contents.
